The Internal Committee exists to prevent, support and resolve concerns about sexual harassment — fairly, confidentially, and without delay.

At XLRI Delhi-NCR, we are committed to fostering an academic and work environment built on dignity, respect, equality, safety and inclusion. The Internal Committee is constituted to prevent, prohibit and address sexual harassment, and to provide an accessible, fair and confidential mechanism for addressing complaints.

When should a complaint be filed?

Ordinarily within three months of the incident, or the last incident in a series. Where more time is needed, the IC can consider the circumstances and decide accordingly.

The IC acknowledges the complaint, reviews the matter, and conducts the inquiry fairly and confidentially where applicable. Appropriate action follows based on the findings, with support provided throughout.

  • Summoning and requiring attendance of relevant persons
  • Examining persons as part of the inquiry
  • Requiring discovery and production of documents
  • Seeking information or material necessary for the inquiry
  • Confidentiality of complaints and proceedings
  • Protection from retaliation or victimisation
  • Interim measures where appropriate, to support safety and wellbeing

Institute premises, Institute-related activities, and other spaces where XLRI community members interact in connection with the Institute — classrooms, offices, hostels, libraries, transportation, field visits, internships, seminars, social and sporting events, and online/digital spaces.

If you feel unsafe or need immediate assistance, contact appropriate campus authorities or emergency services, as applicable.
